Kolapo Joseph is an experienced investment banker with over 20 years in corporate finance. He holds degrees from the University of Maryland and the University of Chicago. He has built an impressive career at Vetiva Capital Management and United Capital Plc, where he served as Director and Head of Project and Infrastructure Finance, raising over USD 10 billion for clients across West and Central Africa.

Currently, as Chief Corporate Finance & Development Officer at North South Power Company Limited, Kolapo has overseen the issuance of Nigeria’s first corporate Green Infrastructure Bond, optimised the company’s capital structure, and led the acquisition of a 25-year concession for the 30 MW Gurara Hydropower Plant. He also directed the issuance of a Series II 10-year bond to fund a 20 MW hybrid solar-hydro power project and facilitated the strategic acquisition of a Nigerian distribution company.
